The Law of Attraction
This is the first law many people look to. I remember hearing about the book The Secret many years ago and started to imagine that everything I said was as good as done. To an extent this is true but there’s more to it than that.
Your mind is a magnet and your words are your wand so you want to be intentional about what you are creating with your thoughts. But here’s where many get it wrong. You can’t force all negative thoughts to suddenly become positive. Instead you want to crowd out the negative thoughts with more and more positive ones. This will create new pathways in the brain and force your thoughts away from the well-worn grooves of the negative. Mantra is a very useful tool to help when you feel yourself ruminating.
This week be the observer of your thoughts and without judgment notice if they run positive or negative. If you want money but you’re constantly judging how much things cost or saying “I can’t afford that” aloud you’ll never be able to. Easy switch could be, “that’s not my priority right now” because it’s empowering and feels like you have options. As you start to get your internal script right and your subconscious is reprogrammed you can start to move into deliberate intentions. Watch for tips on this next week.
